New partnership unlocks seamless flights between Europe and India, just in time for your next getaway

Newsroom

Get ready for a summer of smoother skies and easier connections: Cyprus Airways and Air India have officially joined forces through a brand-new interline agreement that promises to make international travel faster, easier, and a whole lot more exciting.

Thanks to the partnership, passengers flying with either airline can now book trips on a single ticket, enjoy a unified baggage policy, and transfer between flights seamlessly across a wide network of cities. That means less time stressing at airports and more time exploring your destination.

Big hubs, big dreams

Whether you’re heading to India’s vibrant cities or Europe’s cultural capitals, this deal gives you access to key airport hubs like Larnaca, Delhi, Dubai, Paris, Tel Aviv, and Milan. Cyprus Airways passengers can now hop on Air India flights to hot spots like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Cochin. On the flip side, Indian travelers can reach Larnaca with ease, using Air India’s key European connections.

Thanos Paschalis, CEO of Cyprus Airways, called it a “milestone move” that helps position Cyprus as a central hub between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

“This interline partnership with Air India reflects our commitment to giving passengers more choices and making their travel as seamless as possible,” he said.

Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nipun Aggarwal, echoed the excitement, saying the deal opens up a “rising tourist destination” to Indian travelers and strengthens ties between two countries with growing trade and tourism links.

The interline agreement is already live, and tickets are now available through certified travel agencies. So if you’ve been dreaming of sipping chai in Delhi or swimming off the coast of Cyprus, your journey just got a whole lot easier.
